After introducing the 3PWS to my filthy Florentine breakfast habits, we took a taxi out of town for our first day?s walk out to GREVE in CHIANTI.
I forgot to tell you, that they brought colder weather and a spot of rain with them from England. I had told that the weather was nice and warm, apart from a bit of cold wind in the evenings. They had obviously decided to prove me wrong.
Not a lot to report really. Walking in company is more about talking to each other, cracking jokes etc, to the detriment of introspective observation.
Great meal in the evening with old friends in GREVE: it was really nice to see them all again, to listen to their accent: and the promise is there to go back next year and also hopefully, some of them will eventually make it to Geneva!!!!
